I installed Ubuntu server 12.04, on it i installed Seti. It can see the web page, the stats, etc... But it can't get any unit of work, so the machine is sleeping. This system is in a DMZ.
Can somebody help me? i'm pratically a newbie to linux.

Did you install boinc manage ? This program is needed and you have to add the seti project in it.

I am running Ubuntu 12.04 Desktop as a Virtual Machine on my SuSE Linux host. It has BOINC 7.2.42 installed and runs Test4Theory@home, which needs Virtual Box installed on it. I have no problem with it, but it has too many icons for my taste. It is being updated automatically.
