I barely am able to keep the swamp cooler off for an hour or two, then the temp in here starts to warm up...

CHICAGO (WLS) --
Polar Vortex? Not quite, but Chicago weather is on pace for a cool down next week.

"The jet stream will be buckling unusually far south for mid-July, allowing a cross polar flow of chilly air," ABC7 Meteorologist Mike Caplan said.

It's now the middle of July. weather forecasters here in central Florida could record a generic forecast in June and take a vacation until October.

The forecast for today is highs in the upper 80's to middle 90's (F) There is a 50% chance of thunder storms in the afternoon. Lows will be in the low to mid 70's. See you in October.

No rain here yet, but there is a lot of cloud cover, 5C/41F here this morning so it could be considered a heatwave compared to what we have had here lately.

Cheers.
