I remember Chicago, stood in front of the Sears tower and couldn't see a thing, something about a wrong lens product, man that burned! Oh, 18°C here:) Yes, but the developer is trying to get it back from the bankruptcy trustee. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicago_Spire David Sitting on my butt while others boldly go, Waiting for a message from a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri. |

A fairly comfortable night here in Louisville, temp in the upper 70's, somewhat humid. That is NOT my idea of a comfortable night. That is a night for air conditioning. David Sitting on my butt while others boldly go, Waiting for a message from a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri. |

A fairly comfortable night here in Louisville, temp in the upper 70's, somewhat humid. Here it is, though the humidity outside is much lower than in the midwest. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

I've never really understood the Dew Point. Can someone explain that to me? 78 and 43 % RH outside right now, according to my weather station. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

I've never really understood the Dew Point. Can someone explain that to me? Without looking it up, dew point is the temperature at which the moisture content in the air will precipitate out, first in the form of dew if at ground level. (Now, someone find an official explanation and see if I'm right.) I have a better feel for how muggy it is outside with dew point than with RH because it's not, well, relative. 109F/43C on Monday possibly, a pretty good test to see how well all the work I did on caulking a bunch of cracked wallboards here. The current temp is 93F/34C, with a high of 101F/38C. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |
