Wiggo...

What is YOUR definition of Gun Control?

... Restricted weapons: machine guns, rocket launchers, assault rifles, anti-tank guns, Howitzers, artillery, etc.
Flame-throwers are quite legal. =============
=================================================================

So are the rest with a class 3 licence and as far as I know

only twice have legally owned class 3 weapon been used illegally

in this county and 1 of those was an off duty swat officer.

The mental health system in this county for long term patient's is virtually non

existent so most long term violent patient's wind up in prison.

Just one of many problems in the US that would be much cheaper in life and

property if taken care of sooner.

Links to graphic violence aren't permitted here, so I can't link you a clip of a flamethrower in action, so how else to demonstrate it except personally?
When you make your flame thrower do you us the Ivory Snow soap flakes mixed with gasoline method? That's legal in 40 states.

Why the primitive philosophy of: 'Power Can Be Controlled' is still part of Human Thinking? Possibly it is just Einstein's definition of Insanity: "trying the same thing, over and over, and expecting a different result.

Guess the World is not yet ready to Evolve into Advanced American Thinking.

Cheers

I guess you don't realize that 'advanced American thinking' comes down to the idea that power can be controlled. You try to control it by minimizing the amount of power government has and by building a bunch of fail safes.

Obviously you also don't realize that most countries have been changing the way the government holds power. Gone are the days where kings were the sole rulers and who inherited their power or got it through some divine mandate.

But of course, you have been misrepresenting history, political philosophy and entire swats of people constantly, so what I should really wonder why I keep responding when it is obvious by now that I don't have to expect a different result. Guess I'm a little insane.

If you think one Canadian pop singer is an invasion, please feel free to sent him to Iraq. Maybe he'll do a better job than your soldiers.

There you go again. Point of order; ISIS was going through Iraq like crap through a goose. There were no American ground troops in Iraq when this was happening.

They were at the suburbs of Baghdad until a few hundred Green Berets were sent in and stopped them.
The Arab would is still slack jawed at how fast "The Great Satan" took Baghdad.

It's scary how many of you people are down here; you look just like people too.

Sorry Clyde, but from the outside it seems that your country is showing devolving thinking these days.

Life must be considered very cheap there for these massacres to be allowed to continue on without doing something to stop them.

Cheers.

Sure, there are exceptions to every rule. Fact remains that in the majority of the world power no longer rests with absolute kings. Even countries like China and Iran have some form of limitations on the power of the government and its rulers.

I suppose you could aslo use a gelling agent. But the Ivory snow works. I have read books that stated that is what they used in Viet Nam to make Foo gas.
A 55 gallon drum with jellied gas with a charge of C4 under it to propell it in the air and then a detonationg charge to disburse it.
and flamethowers are not new. look up greek fire.

To this day we don't know what Greek fire was. It could float on water and continue to burn. It most likely was not Ivory Snow mixed with unleaded regular.

Yes the founding fathers understood this well, that why do you think the

constitution and bill of right were written as shackles meant to slow the growth

of government.

It is we the people that have forgotten this and heaped power on D.C. .

hope it is not to late to get some of it back.

The foundation of your thinking is absurd. There is nothing permanent.

Your (and everyone else's) Country, Government, Culture WILL collapse. Unless you believe History, Human Nature has changed. Has it?

ALL power leads to tyranny. Unless History, and Human Nature, has changed. Has it?

The best anyone can do, is delay the enviable.

To give Humans running Government, more power than is absolutely necessary will, and always has, lead to tyranny.

I find your childish trust in Power, or 'We set up a good Government, and ONLY place GOOD people into power', to be remarkably silly, and totally dangerous.

No, I don't believe our culture will 'collapse'. Cultures have never collapsed. At least, not on their own. There have been times where cultures collapsed because they were conquered or destroyed by outside forces. But collapse? Nope. Decay perhaps. A slow process over decades where a cultures power slowly decreases and becomes less relevant as another culture takes over.

And will the government turn tyrannical? Sure, if you give them unlimited power from the get go and put absolutely no checks and balances on the system. But how many countries do that? We all have checks and balances and limited governments. The only way a government can turn tyrannical now, in Europe or the United States is if we vote for a tyrant.
