CHICAGO was like a war zone over the American 4th of July weekend, with at least 84 people shot and 14 killed in a spate of shocking violence.

Chicago has become a hotspot of urban violence, and the weekend shooting spree is the worst case of gun violence in the city so far this year, reports The Chicago Tribune.

Sixteen-year-old Warren Robinson was shot dead by police while hiding under a car, while 44-year-old Tonya Gunn was killed in crossfire at an Independence Day BBQ.

Other victims were fired on in drive-by shootings – one victim shot while riding a bike, and others shot while hanging out in pharmacy parking lots.

In The US: It appears the reaction, to this gun violence, is for the Individual to obtain MORE guns. Not Government confiscation of guns.

I believe the reaction will be to say American's are (...), and (...), and (...), and (...). Fill in the blanks.

All the negatives will make no difference.

That is the reaction by the gun lobby and all the ammosexuals.

Again, you do not speak for the American people, the majority of whom want stricter gun control.

A MAN accused of killing six members of his ex-wife’s family, including four kids, deliberately disguised himself as a FedEx delivery man before he shot them in the back of the head execution-style....

...He demanded to see his ex-wife, Melannie Haskell but she wasn’t there so Haskell reportedly tied up the family’s five children — two boys aged four and 13 and three girls aged seven, nine and 15 — while waiting for their parents to return home.

Once husband and wife Stephen Stay, 39, and Katie Stay, 33, returned, they were also tied up.

Haskell then shot each member of the family in the back of the head execution-style.

where we woke up.

The only problem we really have here now are the illegal guns being brought into the country by outlaw motorcycle clubs and ethnic crime gangs, but if you get any news over there about these then you'll also know that these groups are being actively hunted down and dismantled by law enforcement agencies under tough new laws targeting these groups.
