I didn't want to either, before the accident, but it does happen. You don't get to live with it but thinking about her soul and the wisdom she had/has within her is soothing, that's a fact.

I have to agree with Bernie. Where was the compassion for the family left behind, a 1 year old and a 2 year old, now without their mother.

So sad:( Makes me think of my friend Joke, she commited suicide a couple of years ago, leaving behind two beautiful young children:(

A very sad story Julie. The official police statement at the inquest on the Peaches death was

"Recent use of heroin and the levels identified were likely to have played a role in her death."

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police can confirm an ongoing investigation into the supply of drugs in connection with the death of Peaches Geldof".

Unfortunately the tabloid press have homed in on it, which will not help the family come to terms with it.

The tabloids really sink their teeth in a story like this. Oh my, DRUGS?? oh my...

The pathologists, coroners & media can continue to debate the cause of death. As the woman has been laid to rest, leaving her two sons in the care of their father, hopefully, they will grow to adulthood knowing what drugs can do & avoid them themselves.

On that note, I am now requesting the thread be locked.
