It goes on from there. You can watch the episode as well as I can, and imagine perhaps what I do. And just perhaps, it may save you in the same way it saved me one day, long ago.

I did stand on that bridge.
I stood there, and looked down for hours at the spot where my brother ended.
Hours. Seemed like days. Could have been, I dunno. They took me away and awarded me with having to do the positive ID on my brother. Cold, wet, and bleeding. This was my wakeup call.
And now, some of you here can even BEGIN to question my grip on reality?

A very few of you have been through such.
I do accept and realize that a few of you have also suffered similar pain.

I did stand on the bridge. And as the saying goes, I spent a very long time looking down and wondering if that, the choice my brother made, should be mine as well.

Answer me this...........
Did I make the correct choice that day?
If I were not the kittyman, had not been banned time and time again, would you have been so troubled by my doing so?
If I never had so burdened or enlghtened you so, would it have made a difference?
I know that I have saved at least one other soul from the depths from which I reach. I have saved at least one. Not a cat, but a human soul that was in the same depths as I was, and I thrusted them upward with all my strength. And they are alive today.

I have had, on this, your earth, such a wonderful life.
It seems to some that I am rather maudlin just trying to describe it.
It has been anything but.

I must go, virtually, again, to that bridge.
To stand there and ponder why and where and how.
And I assure you, I shall not ever, ever, go to the conclusion that he did.
It was based on his fear of reality. I have no such fear, as I know I can control it. He, sadly had not come to that conclusion.

And, so his life ended that day, and left his wife and child and myself asking questions he could no longer answer.

This is the man you see today. One who has been more places and realities than perhaps you have. As Charlie Daniels said well, 'It's my life. God was the one to give it. And no damned body is gonna tell me how to live it.

It's my song, right or wrong. But you ain't gonna tell me how to live my life."
