Winning after a loooong day.
Wednesday morning Vets Coffee, then up to Fresno State University for the Lost Boat Memorial Rededication and Submarine Force 114th Birthday Celebration. Prayers and speeches, a Piper, pizza and birthday cake. In 90F heat. Local TV news were there, I was probably the only one who didn't get on TV. Then a meeting tonight. Gonna go kibble the kitties and hit the sack.

Good morning all. Spring has Sprung, it's delighfully Sunny here in the SouthWest of the UK.

I know you nice folk in California get Sunshine all year, but we crave it here, badly, after a wet & gloomy Winter like we just had. I've noted to myself that I shall never visit LA again in June. I arrived once for the start of "June Gloom" - a mistake never to be repeated, reminded me of home every day!

We had something that looked like sun this morning. Believe it was an optical illusion however - because we have... let me see... how can I describe it... grey? Yes. Grey. We have grey in my part of London anyway. No need for everyone to rush over here to catch a glimpse of it... take your time... it will still be here... possibly forever :)
