We don't grow anything here but a few flowers that we can wet on (keeping my words down) Trees are killing dog too for water, wurst is the worst and quakes are not much better. Japan will have to handle this one they have, a 8.5 is strong. Cheers everybody Life is short so don't sip Beer speaks, people mumble |

Interesting article So that's why this areas hotspot went away, no more subduction fault action, so no more volcanic action here, everything would then be extinct and there are a few good cones and dikes here, plus nearby Elephant Mountain is all volcanic, nearby is 3.5 miles from My location, almost ground zero for a lava bomb maybe. Discovering helium-3 at the Newport-Inglewood fault is undeniably odd. About 30 million years ago, the fault was the site of a subduction zone, a region in which one continental plate is pushing under another, driving a layer of crust down toward the mantle like a conveyer belt. Thanks Uli, neat article. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Interesting article Yes, since the last time that fault cut loose, in 1933, there was widespread destruction. |

Thank you Grant. I was up for the 4.0 in Fremont, but didn't feel a thing. Pluto will always be a planet to me. Seti Ambassador Not to late to order an Anni Shirt |
