Haven't been to the movies in 40 years.

Been about 10 years for me. Theaters are more comfortable, picture and sound are fantastic, but the yapping children and jerks talking on phones just kill the experience for me. Plus there haven't been many films I wanted to see..... but that's just me.

The last time I went to a theatre most seats were too narrow for Me, so I had to sit in the very back, otherwise I agree with Donald, today I just get a DVD, preferably in widescreen if I can.

Clearly you have not been to a Cinépolis theater.

Cost's a little more (a lot more) and reservations are required. But they serve wine and beer and bring your popcorn to your seat.

When we go to a theater, it's a week day and before kids get out of school. We usually have the entire theater to ourselves.....with few exceptions.

This is getting off topic but it's actually quite large. They just have several "Screening rooms" I think there are 24 rooms like that one. Oh and the menu goes way beyond popcorn.

One small quake of 2.9 in the last 24 hours which is nothing new for us.
