Two quakes near Me, near is a relative term I might add...

Weldon,		California 		93 miles / 149 km 	2.9 	 6:54 AM PST 2015-01-28
Green Valley,   California 		93 miles / 150 km 	3.5 	12:16 AM PST 2015-01-27

I didn't feel either one, both were too far away...

So you have had your one earthquake.
Key on map: 951 earthquakes on map. That is the last seven days.

@Grant I didn't feel a thing either.

@Lynn it has to be a 5+ in Berkeley for me to feel it. You pretty much have to right on top of those to raise your blood pressure a bit.
I know of no Setizen living in Ferndale currently.
Thank you for your concern, but I am sure we will speak up if it affects a Setizen.

Some of us property owners are as prepared as We can be for a quake, not being able to get 3 aquarium seismic isolators out of Japan doesn't help matters much, but then I don't know who sells them in Japan, nor for how much and I'm afraid there might be a language barrier there, though that last part could be all in My head(My severe anxiety may be creeping in).

We all know that the San Andreas fault is going to go at some point. It is apparently overdue and could be a mag 8+ at anytime in the next 100 years. Same for the Yellowstone Caldera. Everyones personal choice where to live.

New Madrid is overdue, too, and it will be a big mess. Seismic standards for construction are not as high here as in CA. It's several hundred miles away, but I still think we will have major damage. The last time New Madrid let it rip, it rang church bells in Boston.

I wonder if there is any fracking being done in these areas?
Since the USGS said Fracking is causing man made earthquakes..
