I have too many tasks that go on after the task has "completed" but continues to run the clock with no meaning full computing, sometimes for 1 hr.
If I abort manually, the task ends, uploads and another one starts.
Is this a glitch in boinc manager or am I really wasting gpu cycles?
thanks

First of all free at least one CPU core to feed the GPU`s properly.
Evenso running with HT on isn`t the best idea at seti.
That should cure your problem.
