I'm sorry but I do not believe any one can predict the future. There is nothing you can say or show me to change that so save the bandwidth. He was a very clever man who survived some rather trying times in style no doubt.

N. Korea is only a threat to it self. They can strike first but that is all they will do. I would venture that there is planned retaliation in place now that would render them in-op in a matter days if not hours.

Korean navy boats exchange warning shots
Naval ships fire warning shots after North Korean patrol boat crosses disputed sea border, South Korean officials say.

North and South Korean naval patrol boats have briefly exchanged fire near their disputed maritime border, according to the South's defence ministry, which said the North's vessel had violated the boundary.

The incident took place around 9:50am (00:50 GMT) on Tuesday near the South Korean border island of Yeonpyeong, when the North Korean patrol boat crossed into the South's water, a ministry spokesman told AFP news agency.

North Korea publicly acknowledges existence of labour camps for first time

UNITED NATIONS — North Korea publicly acknowledged the existence of its labour camps for the first time Tuesday, an admission that appeared to come in response to a highly critical U.N. human rights report earlier this year.

Diplomats for the reclusive, impoverished country also told reporters that a top North Korea official has visited the headquarters of the European Union and expressed interest in dialogue, with discussions on human rights expected next year.

North Korea says leader has reappeared

(CNN) -- Kim Jong Un has reportedly made his first public appearance in more than a month.

The North Korean leader gave "field guidance" to a newly built residential district and visited the Natural Energy Institute of the State Academy of Sciences, state news agency KCNA said early Tuesday.

WASHINGTON (AP) — American detainee Jeffrey Fowle has been released from North Korea, nearly six months after he was taken into custody on charges of leaving a Bible in a nightclub, the State Department said Tuesday. Two other Americans who have been tried and convicted of crimes in North Korea are still being held.

Pentagon: North Korea Can Likely Build Nuclear Missile That Could Hit U.S.

WASHINGTON (AP) — North Korea may be capable of fielding a nuclear-armed missile that could reach U.S. soil, but because it has not tested such a weapon the odds of it being effective are "pretty darn low," the commander of U.S. forces in South Korea said Friday.

In remarks at the Pentagon, Army Gen. Curtis Scaparrotti noted that North Korea claims to have such a missile, although some have questioned whether they have achieved all of the key technological breakthroughs, including manufacturing a nuclear warhead small enough for a long-range missile.

Of course North Korea could hit US with nuclear missiles.
No one needs long range missiles to do it.
All you need is a ship with an atom bomb destined to a US Harbor.

MAD = COMPLETE Destruction of BOTH Sides by Thermonuclear Devices (Fusion Bombs).

Does North Korea have Fusion 'Bombs'? No.

Partial Destruction of 1 to 5 US Cities: Does not destroy the US.

3 to 5 Fusion 'Bombs' Completely Incinerates North Korea.

MAD? No.

North Korea leader Kim Jong-un had surgery, says South Korea

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has had surgery to remove a cyst from his ankle, according to South Korean intelligence.

A spy agency briefing to lawmakers on Tuesday said that a foreign doctor operated on Mr Kim in September or October.

Mr Kim recently dropped out of public view for nearly six weeks leading to speculation that he was seriously ill.
