On a i7-4770 @ 3.4 GHz running Windows 8.1 x64. It seems to be hung with 16 hours projected left to compute. Should I abort the work unit or hang tough? Thanks. Dee |

Hang on in there. If you are running the screen saver its not uncommon to have massive run times.... Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

But not 75 hours on such a CPU. With each crime and every kindness we birth our future. |

What happens, if you suspend and resume computing? Although, this is not normal... Aloha, Uli |

It looks like you are just getting started with that Host. If it were me, I'd install the Lunatics package and use the included CPU AstroPulse App verses the Much Slower Stock version. I haven't had any problems resuming in progress tasks with a different App, so, you shouldn't lose your time invested in that task. The Installer can be found here; Optimised Applications and Other Binaries, 2nd edition |
