Mark a giant government conspiracy would involve lots of people. It is hard for people to keep secrets short term, and even harder for people to keep secrets long term. I find it highly improbable that there is a giant government cover-up involving this tragic incident simply because I do not think it would be possible to keep the location of that plane, were it known, secret for very long. Angela, it took what, 50 minutes or so for this plane, a multi ton jet airliner with hundreds of people aboard, to 'disappear'. There are only two reasons for this to have happened...... One, a devine event of some sort. Not given a likely chance, since the Lord has been strangely absent on our planet as of late. Two, and my best guess at this point, is that the pilot, for whatever reason, chose to commit suicide with all aboard. OH, door number 3. That one is not closed yet. You don't think however stretched your imagination might go, that this was not preplanned by a consortium of conspieracists? This is my best guess to date, unless some really revealing concrete data come forth soon. I understand that you find it improbable. That is the whole freaking point, now is it not? If a conspeiracy were believable, it would not be one, now would it? We have few actual facts. First, we have the footage of the plane taking off from the runway......and BTW, has anybody linked to THAT? I assume it exists. I have not seen it. Maybe the plane never took off at all??? Then, that plane exits all known air space and satellite comms. What the F? Wrong turn on the I95? Oops. And suddenly, all known methods of modern day communication go out? Ok, I can believe that if you can. Not a single cell phone capture from 200+ passengers? Oh, there was that single ping from the copilot's phone. Yeah. Right. Now, let's stretch your concept a little further. Once all known methods of communication from the plane have been disabled. Let's just say.......a lightning strike. OK, now all satellites have also been hit by the same bolt of lightning. Oops, that can't happen in outer orbit, now can it? Lightning requires air to superheat and flash, and their is no air up there, now is there. Putz goes part of theory number 2. Let me tell you this again, Angela. I know that the NSA can, has, and still is monitoring my every move for reasons I cannot reveal. An old court case. Try googling Mitnick. Not me. But close enough. Soooo, they know my phone number, my license plate number, the serial number of the '90 Olds that I drive. My SS number, the number of cats I have, the number of computers that I have, and the number of times my IP address changes every day. Not documented, but I suspect they also know the number of times I sit on the crapper each day. When I wake, when I sleep, when I pet the kitties. Angela, they have a freaking black sedan parked down the block in plain sight most days. It's like I really should be running down the street and buying them Starbucks or something. We darn near shake hands. BTW. High, guys. Just giving you the high hard one...have a nice day. Now, given this overabundance of knowledge, you have the blazen audacity to try to convince me they suddenly lost all possible contact with an airliner. If you think MY thoughts are outrageous, how far out do yours sound now? Step back and think about it. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

There is a basic difference about your theories and mine, Angela. Mine are based in actual reality, yours are based in conceptual reality. The two crash, and that has nothing to do with an airliner supposedly vanishing from the sky, land, and earth. The events leading up to it, at least as reported in the media, are most unlikely to coincide with reality. Just too many inconsistancies. Nothing washes clean. Nothing fits. I told you before, the vast network of comms that exists on this planet could NOT, I repeat, could NOT have lost all track of an airliner in midflight. It just could not happen unless there were some forced plan in place to do so. It is simply not possible, so don't even try to argue that point. I have based my views upon what little concrete information has been available to myself. You have something more that you are basing your precipitation of the event upon? If you do, you might reveal that. I have my fantasies, but not this time, kiddo. I don't take lightly the poofing of some 260 or so souls. I won't sleep much until the truth is revealed. And that might take a long while. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

If you think MY thoughts are outrageous, how far out do yours sound now? Given that your last two posts paint a picture of a man who is either deeply paranoid and/or who flatters himself greatly in his impressions of his own self-importance, I would say that my thoughts sound pretty darn rational in comparison right now. Shall we take a vote? |

Why do you say it "crashed"; do you know something the rest of us don't? I don't pretend to know anything more than the rest of you, but in my opinion the plane has crashed at sea. Whether this was done deliberately or accidentally none of us at this stage know. I will accept that there is an outside possibility that the plane has landed somewhere and for some reason it is being kept secret, but again I believe to be more in the realms of a Hollywood film script. . (CNN) -- A month and a half ago -- 46 days -- Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 vanished over the southern Indian Ocean. The milestone is a somber one because it now allows attorneys to move in. There's a 45-day federal law that says American lawyers have to wait that long to reach out to a family that's lost a loved one in a plane crash. http://www.cnn.com/2014/04/22/world/asia/malaysia-airlines-plane/index.html?hpt=hp_t2 |

Leaving aside the politics and technology of this, one must feel sorry for those at ground level doing the searching... Investigators examine debris ... a month & a half gone already, it must be frustrating for them. |

No matter what the answers truly are amid all the speculation, I hope that some concrete evidence can be found soon to ease the suffering of those who had/have loved ones on that flight. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

What beggars belief for me is the fact that between 1942-45, allied ships were able to track & destroy enemy subs with the technology of the day. 69 years later, they cannot find an aircraft which is static? |
