Hi,

If I use Berkely installer of Boinc instead of e.g. repository ppa:costamagnagianfranco/boinc, will the username be the same and the directory boinc is installed in the same?

Well, what's the answer?
I would guess not, since the Berkeley installer installs to your home directory, while the PPA will put it elsewhere?
