A bow draw - for pulling a bow string? - no, this tool type was invented before bows and arrows.

Though both of you were wrong, you are heading in the right direction.

Hint - this tool helps you to do something better.

It is actually an Atlatl or Spear Thrower.

Hi Luigi! How are you? I don't need assistance hitting my thumb, I can do that with my eyes closed :) but my fingers tend to be left out in the cold a bit. But thanks for putting me straight! I won't bother rushing out and getting an atlatl... antlatinal, attalat... one of those things :)
