I don't think I knew of him either, but I do love flamenco guitar playing - so I will rectify my ignorance immediately! The world is a sadder place when we lose the heroes that inspired us. I am sorry. |

I, too, enjoy Spanish and Flamenco guitar. I have a few of his works in my collection, but much more of Segovia, and more modern players Armik, Govi, and Ottmar Leibert. The passing of a great artist is always painful, but thanks be that they lived, and that we have recordings to preserve their works for others to hear and enjoy. Thank you, Paco de Lucia.
