I downloaded the SETI@home 7.03 for Intel GPUs and when I try to download it, I get the following message: "BOINC Installer.app" can't be opened because it was not downloaded from the Mac APP Store. When I go to the Apps store, it doesn't find anything under SETI and only BoincVideo using Boinc. I'm using a mid 2010 MAC Pro, 2.8GHz quad-core Intel Xeon, ATI Radeon HD 5770 1024 MB, with OSX 10.9.1. Any ideas for how to get this to download? Thanks, Jim |

If you have an ATi Radeon HD 5770 GPU, why are you trying to download the Intel GPU app? |

First of all, the error message that you received about BOINC not being from the Mac App Store resulted from a setting on your Mac. IIRC, the default is what it is set at now...OS X will not allow you to install applications that came from anywhere but the Mac App Store. You can update that setting by opening System Preference and selecting "Security & Privacy"; however... Secondly, as has been discussed elsewhere here, SETI@home 7.03 for Intel GPUs is not for Macs. |
