I guess they were the non-existent troops.

Or just reposition them to better effect?

Cheers.

Dear CLYDE, Wiggo, SciManStev and et al.!

I do not have much free time is still ... but I try to tell you this situation! «…relocated one battalion…» - it is a trifle! It's this a word game on the verge of cheating!
This is a simple clever trick of Russians! As a result of the information posted by users in Russian social networks, we determined the maneuvering of heavy armored vehicles near the Ukrainian border. Sometimes, their interest and video recording of the movement of Russian troops, helps to identify one or another part of the military on the border with Ukraine.
Do not even need of space satellites!
They also are singing strange and aggressive songs with the words "Russian go ...", with title "The movement of Russian troops to the borders of Ukraine... " ,
see Video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZNwLIfGsRJM

On the north-eastern boundaries of Ukraine, they have the about 70 thousand Russian soldiers, as well as approximately: armored vehicles (tanks and APCs) - 700 pcs.; attack helicopters and combat aircraft - 240 units; various caliber artillery systems - 150 units; multiple rocket launchers (MRL) - 100 units etc.
More here http://inforesist.org/operaciya-omega-putin-pered-vtorym-pryzhkom/
- Russian tanks on the railway station Klimovo Bryansk region (border with Ukraine), see Video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HTbR_DLU7uc
- Russian self-propelled artillery system MSTA-S is transported by rail in the direction of Ukraine (near the city of Bryansk, Russia),
see Video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7q66-26WAdg
- More than 25 attack helicopters identified on the outskirts of the city of Belgorod (in the direction of the border with Ukraine) http://osp-ua.info/lastnews/31675.html

For example, a tactical group (reinforced battalion) of the 2nd Guards Taman Motorized Rifle Division (place of permanent deployment – in township Alabino Moscow region) is concentrated in settlements Kalynivka,Amon,Kursk region http://ipress.ua/news/do_ukrainskogo_kordonu_pidtyagnulas_elita_rosiyskyh_suhoputnyh_viysk__foto_video_56568.html
3rd Battalion 76 - th Pskov Airborne Assault Division and two battalions of the 106th Tula Airborne Division - deployed in settlements Belgorod,North,Builder,V.Lopan...
see Video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MtmS0C5G9KM
12 Panzer Regiment 4th Guards Kantemirovsky Tank Division (place of permanent deployment Naro-Fominsk Moscow region) was seen in the southwest of the Bryansk region of Russia, at the Ukrainian border ... ,see Video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pogrBymzqwU and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AS3pPJIQ0AU

They also opened a field hospitals, engineering military units, logistic support, communication, were seen sound stations for agitation and propaganda ЗС-82 (10 units) http://censor.net.ua/news/278274/na_granitsu_s_ukrainoyi_privezli_agitmashiny_istochnik_v_minoborony_rf

Continuous movement of troops to the border in southern Russia http://glavcom.ua/news/195290.html
Why all this? It's clear to any...Therefore, talk about the withdrawal of Russian troops too early!
This was also confirmed leadership NATO today (in particular Anders Fogh Rasmussen,Secretary General of NATO):
"KYIV, April 1 /Ukrinform/. The North Atlantic Alliance does not see positive results in the withdrawal of Russian troops from the Ukrainian border. NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said this before a meeting of the North Atlantic Council in a foreign ministers session in Brussels on Tuesday, a Ukrinform correspondent reported."Unfortunately, I cannot confirm that Russia is withdrawing its troops. This is not what we are seeing. This massive military build-up can in no way contribute to a de-escalation of the situation - a de-escalation that we all want to see. So I continue to urge Russia to pull back its troops, live up to its international obligations and engage in a constructive dialogue with Ukraine," Rasmussen said. He added that today NATO would discuss support for Ukraine in connection with Russia's unacceptable military aggression. Rasmussen said that the foreign ministers of NATO member states would also discuss the revision of the alliance's relations with Russia"
Based on materials from http://www.ukrinform.ua/eng/news/nato_not_confirming_pullback_of_russian_troops_from_border_with_ukraine_319514

Alex

P.S. Look at all ... is very informative and an actual material from open sources media! :)

That's actually a pretty fair assessment there Steve that only a hardline out of step Russian could disagree with.

Cheers.

Thanks so much guys!
NATO's supreme allied commander in Europe, U.S. Air Force General Philip Breedlove today said the same thing that I said for you yesterday...

Real story?
http://lenta.ru/news/2014/04/03/cubantwitter/

EDIT: looks so :)

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/us-secretly-built-cuban-twitter-but-why/

Documents show the U.S. government planned to build a subscriber base through "non-controversial content": news messages on soccer, music, and hurricane updates. Later when the network reached a critical mass of subscribers, perhaps hundreds of thousands, operators would introduce political content aimed at inspiring Cubans to organize "smart mobs" - mass gatherings called at a moment's notice that might trigger a Cuban Spring, or, as one USAID document put it, "renegotiate the balance of power between the state and society."

Well, not CIA, just another USA department ;)

Same methodology, yeah ?

The news has it that Cuba has finally turned the corner despite 50+ years of unending economic warfare waged against them.
I wonder how the majority of the inhabitants feel about it now? Do they even WANT a 'spring'?

It looks to me like it all boils down to whether the Ukraine is an independent country or not. From Putin's point of view it is not while from everyone else's it is. I think Russia allowed the "Soviet Union" to break up in the hope that after a few years of independence the newly reformed countries would all come running back to mother russia. Now that they haven't done so Russia has decided to take by force what they have not been given.

Will the rest of the world stand up to Russia and protect the Ukraine or will we bow to Russia's demands and allow Russia to gobble back up what they lost a couple of decades ago under a new name.

We will allow it.
The Chinese need a problem on their borders to keep them careful.
Russia needs to beef up a little before they can be that.

No matter what the USA has done to Cuba:

The Castro Brothers are just Corrupt, Power Mad, Murdering Dictators.

NOTHING excuses them.

Hehe, such "no matter - no excuses" can be double sided sword actually...
All is matter.

Just small example: Obama is just pathetic liar (look his statement regarding Kosovo) so no matter what Putin did, Obama has no excuses...

In short - one bad never justifies another.

Quite agree!!!!

Nothing excuses Putin.

Thank you for agreeing.

Just as nothing excuses USA's departments when they mess with foreign governments inner states. Looks like you missed the point again, that's 2-way statement.

LoL, clever advertisement trick. How else their name would appear even on this board? :DDD
And most clever part that this advertisement cost nothing (in first approximate. In second they could lose some negligible fraction of their customers who disagree with their decision, but this part will be so small and number of those who heard (like me :) ) about that restaurant first time will be so big....)

It would probably be even less than than, given that most Americans don't even know who Putin is...but given that this is a New York based company, then they probably got an increase from former Eastern Europeans that seem to love living in New York.

If I wasn't American I would be concerned about what kind of deal these two made. One secret hand shake and it's like nothing ever happened.
