OMG! ANGELA!! WHAT DID YOU DO?!?! Don't you know that every man has their own filing system? How is Eric supposed to find anything in that mess you call an "improvement"? Eric, you should have sent her to a spa instead of taking her to work. You broke Rule #1 - Never let your other half into your mancave. I'm so sorry. So terribly sorry. |

Thank you Angela! After posting that first pix of Eric's office my computer room/den looks much better, you have enabled me to relax. Now it won't be so hard to hold off LSM and her mops and other tools of destruction. |

My hobby/work/sleepout room never looked that bad, but after making some more shelf units out of my missus' old PC desk today (which the kids made a mess of) my desk and workbench look almost naked now. Cheers. |

The funny thing is, we're all saying the same, but at the same time, Eric is so blessed to have a wife like Angela. I wish I had a wife like Angela who'd come and clean up my office. Reality Internet Personality |

By the way, who is that fashionable woman with the red jacket in the picture above his desk? And is that Windows 7 I see running on that monitor? (He can answer that one if he has the time.) |

The funny thing is, we're all saying the same, but at the same time, Eric is so blessed to have a wife like Angela. This reads a little more creepy than I intended. Much as I am sure that Angela is a lovely wife, I'm more looking for someone to take on the duties normally associated with "wife" than actually marrying a woman. Even Angela. Es, I understand that Facebook now has 50 different terms for sexual and gender orientation, and I do have a long track record of liking 'em smart, so if Eric ever leaves me for a younger hotter woman... call me! |

My first thought after reading Angela's first post was about the same as many other's....."He'll never find anything again." I have, over the years, gotten into the habit of returning things that I use back to the place I got them from, even if that place might be a bit unusual, because due to some age related diminishing of memory...the place that I got it from and returned it to will be what I remember the next time in the future I am looking for it. Best luck to Eric in his future office maneuvers. (And I am sure the current state of affairs shall be much more 'welcoming' to the esteemed visiting scientist......unless his own home office resembles what Eric's used to be.) I am 100% with Ang that the Office needs to be spick and span. The home office needs to be left alone. Eric needs his Den. Pluto will always be a planet to me. Seti Ambassador Not to late to order an Anni Shirt |

I've been avoiding this thread because I didn't want to take the time to read it. But now I did. I was going to say something like, "Poor Eric. How will he ever find anything?" but I see at least four people beat me to it. I think Eric must be very lucky in that his wife seems to know where every thing does go..... |
