Hi !

When I look at the website statistics, I can see that only 6 tasks have finished :'(
But when I look at the machine logs, I can see 30 computation terminated :

Validated tasks are purged from the Boinc database 24 hours after validation.

If so I should have less validated task in the boinc database than on the website. Here it's the exact inverse : 30 in the boinc database and 6 on the website !

The 6 validated tasks shown on the website add up to about 399 credits out of the total credits of 2531 for that host. The other 2132 are for tasks which were done earlier and no longer show individually.

The term "BOINC database" means the big server-side MySQL database which maintains records for all users, hosts, and teams as well as the tasks and workunits which are active. The task and workunit details are purged 24 hours after they're no longer needed.

The client-side event log preserves messages for awhile, so will often show info about tasks which are no longer visible on the website. It's not a database, just a history of messages, and spins off into stdoutdae and stderrdae files to preserve the messages longer.
