Link to article. It's written by the well-known astronomer Phil Plait of "Bad Astronomy" fame (now has a regular Slate column.) May be of interest as it's about the search (especially via Kepler) for earth-like exoplanets in the "Goldilocks zone" for liquid water, ie the best possible SETI candidates we know of... yes, those same candidates we hope to get the Green Bank receiver online for... someday... I hope. |
