I wish just to entertain and enlighten. And if that does not suit you, naff off. I don't need your enlightenment. You are all welcome to post your own posts of certain actors you are enamored with. I shall start with an actor I have held in high esteem for eons. Not only for his portrayal of Mr. Mark Twain................... But for some roles others might not have suspected of him. His name is Hal Holbrook. His history for me, is limited to his stage plays of 'Mark Twain Tonight.' And aside from his acting abilities, this show discovers some interesting thoughts about our Seti search. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

And, Blurf......... I believe you have had personal contact also with my next candidate for Most Wonderful Actor, Mr. Clint Eastwood. Few actors on the planet have impacted me personally more than he has since my youth. Salute, Mr. Eastwood. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

We've recently acquired several Eastwood films and I've been working on cataloguing them. All the Leones. David Sitting on my butt while others boldly go, Waiting for a message from a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri. |

And I must propose another candidate to this little club. The most honorable Mr. Morgan Freeman. A man who's voice I just cannot hear enough of. His 'Through the Wormhole' science series is a grand thing. And the delight I see in his eyes as he presents it is beyond compare. A true storyteller, and a wonderful gentleman. Thomas. I do not consider either Winslet or Cruise to be even in the slightest company of those I have mentioned. Perhaps fine actors, but not legendary. Just my opinion, of course. I could add one other to my list. Sir Robert Downey Jr. AKA recently as Sherlock Holmes. And add another one........ A most amazing actor. Mr. Hugh Laurie. I got you on this one........... And yes, besides being a fine actor, he really is a musician as well. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |
