and arrest by Obama Amazingly, simple solution to the problem. STOP DOING ILLEGAL $9!7 !!!
Crying foul and calling the Obama administration fascists is hardly the truth. Being caught in an illegal act and making the excuse of selective political persecution is quaint but inaccurate.
Of course, it could be that famous people facing legal trouble seem to commonly assume they're being singled out because of who they are. D'Souza is not the first prominent individual to face charges for allegedly using straw donors to give more than the legal limit to political campaigns. Nor is he the first to fall back on the assumption that the feds must be targeting him for those contributions because he's famous.

sorry conservatives blaming others because you got caught didn't work when you were 3 it still doesn't work when you are an adult. Or did you think that silver spoon provided immunity from being arrested

And just how many do you purpose exist on the other side of the court?
Obama has many who are doing the same thing, I suspect.
Only difference is, they are not being called on the carpet about it.

Get real.

No one gets up at arms if Obama prosecutes another democrat because that would make him seem like a law abiding president that deals with corruption like he should, and not the fascist dictator hell bent on destroying America. In other words, that would not fit the conservative media discourse and thus doesn't get reported. At least, not with a lot of attention and people would forget almost instantly.

and as the case is, rich influential people on both sides are being indited all the time in political scandals. Our current batch of whiners are blaming the Prez for their own poor choices. As I stated before, they should consider not breaking the law before breaking the law

Ok, we have your viewpoint then.

I'm just saying that certain conservative media outlets have set up this overly negative discourse against Obama, and that means brushing over the facts that would counter this discourse.

Facts often bother ideologues.

Speaking as an outside observer, I feel it might be a good thing if conservative Americans were targeted by the police becuase of who they are, instead of what they did or didn't do. This would give them some insight into how it feels to be a black or hispanic American.

I didn't realize that rich old white people are a race unto themselves. Hardly a racist comment more of an overview of the police state actually picking on another minority other than the ones that have color to their skin.
The only way this could possibly be construed as racist is if you believe the police don't target non whites for searches and non-violation stops such as those in NYC that are clearly meant to harass those that the white police think need harassing.

I'm afraid they lack the capacity to realize that this is what they do to African Americans and Hispanics on a far more regular basis.

You know, its like how conservatives are fine with a social safety net as long as they are the ones benefiting from it. Because you know, they work hard, they aren't moochers, unlike those other people.

This thread has degenerated into a racist slanging match so is being frozen for a few hours to allow you all to cool down.
