Kaj Stenvall from Finland has changed the main character of his art replacing Donald Duck with Vladimir Putin. Let's see when we get first postcards about these newest paintings. Would be fun to send them to Russia.

Oh my giddy aunt! Where's that damned single malt Scotch, I need a drink!

A "yes" vote would devastate the BBC

To all Jocks, please vote...

YES

...that'll save on the TV licence!

I know you are not a fan of the BBC, but seriously, be careful what you wish for. The alternatives are much, much worse.

The BBC serves a purpose & does provide good programs, but this, all on the license payer's back is despicable!

£6,000,000 per year - comedian gives license payers the "bird"

& it's still continuing, too many getting fat on public money.

Money is needed to be able to provide accurate information. Honest ways, where big money is, are hard to find:(

But BBC sells a lot programs to other countries.
Sweden shows a lot of BBC productions and not for free.
So I Think it's a win-win situation for taxpayers.
How much do you pay for watching BBC?
Sweden has the same system as England and I pay less then 20 Pounds a month to watch SVT (Sveriges Television).

It's GBP, so with them out of GB, they don't have any pound.
2. Oil, Ha. I knew that.
3. Border controls, Whats wrong with Schengen Agreement.
UK & Eire not part of that agreement & have no intention of joining.
4. The EU, Tricky but Norway is not a EU member.
5. Trident, Who needs them.
America, Britain, China, France, India, Israel, Pakistan, Russia & Iran with the potential to gain them...

I did watch the 'debate', though i was cooking tea at the time so may have had my attention diverted frequently.

The reason i put debate in inverted commas is because it wasn't a debate. In a proper debate one side speaks, then the other side speaks, the first side responds, the second side responds, then the chair puts the motion to a vote. Each side listens in respectful silence to the other, and the winner is the person who makes the best case thus convincing the audience.

What you don't do, is try to continually out-shout the other side when ever they say something you don't like. If i tried that at the university debating society, i would be rapidly ejected, yet it seems to be Alex Salmond's main (or rather, only) mode of speech. Darling too tried this, but to a lesser extent.

That is not a debate, that is a shouting match.

I put Darling as the victor in both tv debacles, he has clear arguments and the facts and figures to back them up.
Salmond's tirade is never very far removed from ye ken taek ar lives but ye'll never taek ar freeedoom!
Life on earth is the global equivalent of not storing things in the fridge.
