Load SETI program during usage

Would it be possible to only load the SETI program when BOINC needs it? As it stands now BOINC takes about 6 MBs, not that bad at all, but the SETI program always runs even when it's not in use (I have it set to only do calcs while idle) The Seti program takes another 22 MBs of ram. I know that 28 megs of ram isn't exactly a resource hog, but if streamlining were possible it'd be a great improvement.
