Yesterday we went to see Henry Winkler as Captain Hook in Peter Pan in SW London. It was pretty much in traditional panto style with "He's behind you!" etc. Most of the theatre had been block booked by all the local schools, so the only seats we could get were at one end of the Dress Circle in "Wrinkly Corner" with the few adults there! As usual there were also some adult jokes chucked in. One of the characters kept coming on and doing a pop dance behind Hooks back while he bawled "No dancing in my pirate ship!". After one incursion, 3 of the pirates rushed on holding score cards, and in their best Len Goodman voice yelled "S E V E N N N !"

Standard run of the mill stuff, but I can now say I've seen the Fonz in real life! :-)

I also have mine, and if you don't like them ... tough, live with it.

The whole cast did the Happy Days theme song with a be-bop dance routine at the end of the show which was very good. I think I enjoyed it more than the kids! If I ever come back in a second life I wanna be the Fonz, but I might want a rather more up market "office" !

Sadly Tom Bosley died in 2010, but Mrs C is still going :-) I just loved that show in the 70's.
