Hi All,

So been an active cruncher for some time and over the last few days I have had intermittent projects downloaded, i now appear to only have seti@home and that has now stopped.

I can access my account ok however when trying to add additional projects for new data I am unable to log in with account details.

So there appears to be an issue / bug with my account

can anyone assist here please?

Cheers
Charlie

Not so much an issue with your account as an issue with one of the servers. The upload server, Bruno, has thrown its toys out of the pram and so no uploads, and no uploads means downloads (which keep our crunchers fed) are very sporadic.

So the weird thing, I downloaded the client to another desktop and added another project Astroids@home

tried to link this to my account and it failed so there is an account issue for sure :(

All projects are independent of each other. You will have to make a new account at all of them. The only thing in common is that they all run under BOINC, they do not all share a single communal database that holds all information about everyone (thank the deities).

Hmmm. Same issue and yet not so same... Seti@home, no new tasks for 2 days. I then added a new project Asteroids@home. It is working fine. Leads me to Blame Bruno (It's been month!?) Just SETI is the only one that keeps "deferring"

According to your account, your machine downloaded 11 tasks today. Do you not have them?
