Do not know if it is the power unit or the CPU if it is the later yes and excuse to upgrade. Does anyone know where I can get a good but cheap computer in the U.K. Have a poke around eBuyer. I buy most of my stuff from them. |

Does anyone know where I can get a good but cheap computer in the U.K. It is the power supply; P4s can be had online for less that $20 US so hope it is the CPU. If you don't want to get that involved go to a computer recycler; a very serviceable machine can be had for $100 US or less. Make sure you get one with at least one PCIe x16 slot so you can pop in a GPU. Even a seven year old machine with a newer GPU can do any normal computing task. |
