I downloaded and installed Lunatics 64-bit version for my 64-bit Windows machine. When I look at the system processes, I see:

Lunatics_x41z_win32_cuda50.exe *32

Should it not say win64 and *64 ?

Thanks

On Windows it should say *32 . 64 bit addressing on GPUs is slower, and so generally only used if massive amounts of memory are needed by an application.

Ok, so I am in good shape. Thanks for the additional information about the slower 64-bit addressing. Can never have enough info.

Thanks!

No Worries. I'll add that I test from time to time if that particular situation changes, as both the application itself and the infrastructure it depends on does evolve. For now the penalty is from a few to 10%, but fairly extensive application changes are planned, so it'll have to be tested again after those (in x42 series).
