The GPU is probably the single most expensive part of a well equipped box so how are you measuring GPU load and Temperature? You have to make sure it's running within specs!

SIV for a graphical display of what is happening and a 110 VAC fan blowing on the eight GPUs. This only works in the winter.

I had never heard of SIV so I located it and downloaded it. By far SIV is the best monitoring program I have used. Everything I am interested in is on the main page. It even found both fans on my Asus ROG laptop, something even the Asus utilities failed to do. Great program.
