Why is it when to many CPU units go high priority, GPU task are not run? BAD PROGRAMMER, BAD PROGRAMMER :P |

Not sure of the gpu question, I haven't seen that happen or read anything about it. I found that with BOINC v7, there's a bug that throws BOINC v7 into high priority mode when you have a fairly high cache setting and tasks with less than a 10 day deadline, so lower the "minimum work buffer" a few days and see if they drop out of high priority model I described this in: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=72906&postid=1421460 Another Fred Support SETI@home when you search the Web with GoodSearch or shop online with GoodShop. |

it even ignored my computing preference, i had don't exceed 87.5 % of the processors; and it went ahead and used them all. i've suspended the work units until the behavior stopped, and am resuming a few every hour or so. |
