I got these 2 messages from seti@home...
12/26/2013 1:45:20 AM | SETI@home | Message from server: SETI@home v7 needs 9.11MB more disk space. You currently have 22.89 MB available and it needs 32.00 MB.
12/26/2013 1:45:20 AM | SETI@home | Message from server: AstroPulse v6 needs 37.11MB more disk space. You currently have 22.89 MB available and it needs 60.00 MB.

I check my preferences and I have Einstein@home and Seti@home sharing 2GB of disk space both with the same settings.
Why do they not share this resource equally? einstein@home is taking 1.95GB of disk space for its self.
Any Ideas?
I am confused>

Quite simple - the resource share is the processing resource not the storage. As you have found 2Gb storage is not sufficient to keep both Einstein and SETI. I would set a total storage for BOINC projects at 5Gb, which should be enough to keep your system fed and watered with work.
Another thing you will notice fairly soon is that the resource share is a time based share, not an instantaneous share. You will probably find that a lot of Einstein work gets done first, then SETI will do a catchup, but over a period of weeks the overall balance will be about 50/50.
