Installed SETI@home 6.03 (from www.dotsch.de) on my Solaris 3 days ago,
but until now still no work unit downloaded.

There are no more SETI@home v6 workunits; only SETI@home v7. A new application will need to be written, compiled, and tested with the new v7 workunits before you can receive work.
