Considering we only have a few days left till the holidays, and we don't have one yet, this thread is for all Christmas-y discussions. Enjoy, and Merry Christmas!

I want to wish ALL my Seti friends, associates, mods, and project staff a most heartfelt Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

This project is a large part of my life, and you ALL make it dear to me, even when I myself am not a dear at times.

Wishing that you all have a wonderful holiday season, and pray that the coming new year brings good things to each and every one of you.

Meow,

Mark

Well a very "Happy Winter Solstice" to all of you living in the northern hemisphere. (If your a "Southerner" then it's midsummer day, but I don't celebrate that)

So how did the official "First Day of Winter" dawn here in the UK, well wet and grey, in keeping I suppose.

And just to be clear today marks "the suns minimum elevation at noon"

As to sunrise and sunset they are "local" times depending of course exactly where you are on the surface of the planet.

Here in the South Croydon (latitude 51.362755 longitude -0.096712) the sunset reached it's earliest between December the 9th and 15th 15:51 GMT

Sunrise om the other hand reaches it latest between December the 29th and Jan the 1st at 08:05 GMT

I just posted this in the train thread, but it deserves to be here too. Merry Christmas!

Hi!
I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New year, a good time with your family.

For those who are alone, I am wishing you to keep the Christmas Spirit and have a drink on me. Next year will bring better things for you.

Please continue to share your thoughts with us on the Seti Cafe.

Bye|
