I have been unable to access my SETI classic data. I had the account from 1998 to 2004 and have been using BOINC since 2009. I am able to access my current account without any trouble. I do not recall the email address that I used originally. Suggestions?

The email address was the unique identifier. Without remembering that, there's not much else you can do.

You do not recall ANY of your old email addresses you used (for any purpose) ~1999
or you do not recall the EXACT email address you used for SETI@home Classic?

If you recall SOME of your old email addresses you need just try all of them and see if they work:

I have a similar problem. What do I need to post?
I'd participated from the 90's. I'd gotten more machines in the mid 00's, and those were the machines that got rolled in from classic, but not my original account.

You can only merge one Classic account with one BOINC account. Since the account you're posting with has already been merged, you cannot merge again.

On the upside, SETI@home opened it's doors in April of 1999, so you couldn't have done much in the 90's. ;-)

March for some of the first external testers...
