Message 1455229 - Posted: 18 Dec 2013, 19:01:22 UTC - in response to Message 1455226.

Well, those Mega Millions tickets I bought did not work out, so I guess I am...

Winning before going back to work for another 12 hour shift.

Yeah, same here, except my shift is only 7.5 hours (8 - 0.5 for lunch, which I can skip the rest of this week). Of course, I haven't checked my tickets for smaller prizes yet.

Not even a token prize here..
But, they say you can't win at all unless you buy a ticket.

I think I won 4 $1 prizes for matching the Mega Ball from last Friday's tickets. Not going to tell you what I spent.

Ping!

No, Mega Millions is on Tuesday and Friday. Christmas would be Powerball, Wednesday and Saturday.

What I find funny is the folks that will buy tickets when the jackpot gets up to enormous sums, but not otherwise.

I mean, why play for just a few paltry million....LOL. The chance of winning does not change, and I'd be happy to win a little 15 million prize.

And may the odds be ever in your favor.

Be careful with the Vicodin, Scott. Last year, they gave me 11 straight days of constipation that only cleared when I stopped taking them.

Scott, hope your toe is doing better :-)

@ Dave,

I've heard of that happening to people when they take Vicodin... However; I've always been lucky, I've never had that problem, nor have I had the urge to fall asleep on it, either - that's another possible side effect.

@ Lynn,

It still hurts; but, I got word from the Doctor that the X-Rays are normal - no broken toe. It's just swollen and painful.

I hadn't either, until it happened to me. Had I known, I would have stopped a lot sooner, because after a few days I was taking it for the pain from that rather than the original pain.

Glad your toe's not broken.

Winning, after taking delivery of my new car, which I ordered back in August. It came to the dealer from the factory in Valladolid, Spain, on December 5th, and then they had to fit some special stuff that I wanted added.

CONGRATS on the new car, Sten! :-)

Back at the top, and WINNING!!!!! :-)
