When a file start to do what it has to do the time remaining is usually around 10 hours. Buts it gets more ans more.. Sometimes the times keeps counting but the percentage doesn't change at all

I think it takes me for a month and a half to finish one file. But I only get a month.. It keeps my pc busy, but I do not get any points because I'm always late with AstroPuls files. So there's nothing in it for me.

Is there a way tot tell the program that it doesn't download AstroPuls files to one of my two computers? Or is it possible that the time to get it done is longer? Lets say 3 months just like the SETI@home files?

Just go over here:
http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/prefs.php?subset=project
There you can simply deselect Astropulse and select "no" for "accept work from other applications" and you only get Multibeam v7

I do have two computers.. The setting on the page is not for one but for all the computers?

I just need the setting for one pc.

And why is the time I get only 1 month and not 2 or 3?

I just need the setting for one pc.

At the bottom of page there are:
"Add separate preferences for XXXXX"
http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/prefs.php?subset=project

Add one of them (e.g. 'work')

You also need Setting (at 'preferences for work'):
"If no work for selected applications is available, accept work from other applications? no"

Then at the bottom of computer page select Location: 'work' [Update]:

I believe there is only 1 AstroPulse workunit for ever 25 SETI@home Multibeam workunits (or something close to that). Getting AstroPulse workunits is really just a work of luck since so many people are gobbling them up.

If you only want to receive AstroPulse workunits, you can change your project preferences to AstroPulse only. Though if there's no AstroPulse to send out, you won't get any other work unless you select the box "If no work for selected applications is available, accept work from other applications?" to Yes.
