How is CPU usuage time calculated, I've had BOINC running for at least 10 minutes and still it only shows 1.5ish minutes of CPU usage. |

That would explain it, I had it running in the background, so I guess IE and other things were eating my CPU. Does this give preference to the System Idle process, or like the old SETI does the System idle process get bumped? > It uses the CPU usage as reported by the OS. I would go to task manager to > see what process(es) are eating up all of your CPU time. > <a> href="http://www.boinc.dk/index.php?page=user_statistics&userid=9915"> > > |

If you have enabled BOINC to run while you are working, the BOINC project will step out of the way whenever you need the CPU for something with a higher priority (almost anything but another DC project or the system idle process). |
