Lucky me, I just built myself a new computer! It's a considerable upgrade on my old one which was an old Athlon 4200 with a weak graphics card (8600GT) I'm now running a Haswell 4670 (no K, as I won't be overclocking) I'm getting units for the new CPU to crunch, which is is doing merrily (four at a time, each one way faster) - but I'm not getting any units for the Intel 4600 GPU to work on. Now, to make sure my old work units from varous projects, stats etc, all came across, I backed up and restored BOINC from my old PC to the new one. Naturally I had to abandon one work unit that was expecting an NVIDIA GPU - this was expected. Do I need to do anything else specific? The Intel graphics drivers are installed and should be up to date. I don;t have a discrete graphics card, don't need one. |
