That was the hours of the weekly system maintenance. Every week on Tuesday during those hours the entire site goes down so they can backup the database. The forums and handing out workunits are both directly connected to the database and thus must be turned off during the maintenance period. ID: 1447444 ·

When on the Projects Tab, Select Seti@home, Then just hit 'Update', as long as it wasn't less than 5 minutes and 3 seconds since the last request then the Scheduler could potentially send you work, (It would refuse you otherwise) (each time a Boinc asks for work for a device and doesn't get it, it then Backs off the next request for a longer time interval, hitting Update resets that Backoff, Clicking 'Properties' will tell you what the Backoffs are) Claggy ID: 1447463 ·
