Was it thick enough to stand a spoon up in it?

Understand this is from a tea drinker, but I have it on very good authority, my son who only drinks coffee. That,

1, you should not use boiling water, so that bitter acids are not released.

2, it should be drunk immediately.

If it is not drunk and kept hot, it becomes like mud and looses some of it's flavours.

And if cooled it needs to be placed in an sealed oxygen free environment until it is drunk.

And if I hear this lecture one more time then either he gets sent back to Italy, where he learnt about coffee, or is fed into the coffee grinder.

Oh for gosh sake! The elixir of life is Ambrosia, the Nectar of the Gods, i.e. beer :-)

Sheesh ...

Well now I need a 3rd one to recover from my unexpected experience last night. :-o

But the amber fluid will flow here in about 3hrs. ;-)

Cheers.
