Just saw this a bit ago. Tried to post here, but the Internet said no - maybe too maudlin?

So I went over to Rocky's, and raised a toast to Sir John and Sheila at Mike Callaghan's fireplace. Feel free to do likewise, on my tab.

Chris S has me blocked, can someone please tell him I posted this on the Milkyway forum as well since he was active over there as well.

Thank You

I've informed the folks in the Malaria Control forum, where John was also a regular contributor.

I still have no words. All that came to mind was the Lord's blessing.

Also, Gary asked me to pass on his condolences.

Today I had a phone call from Johns daughter. They have been to the house today and found his mobile and are contacting people he knew. I have thanked her and passed on my land line as well. I have been invited to say some words at the cremation service which I will be honoured to do.

I have been asked by Dune Finkleberry (Alan our old goat) to pass on his thoughts.

"Words are inadequate to convey the deep sense of loss, not only to me, but all of us that knew him... Either actually knew him, or just knew the kind ol' John Clark. Him and his furballs. They too must be experiencing a sense of loss."

To Ariz and Karen, thank you both for popping in to say a few words. As I did for Sheila, I will print off this thread at a later date for the family to see.

Thank you also to everyone else that has expressed their thoughts here either directly or via others, It will be of great comfort to John's loved ones that he was so kindly thought of and remembered, by his extended Seti family.
