That's the new story revealed on REELZ Sunday night. An Australian crime investigator reveals a new theory that JFK was accidentally fatally wounded by a secret service agent in the following car. The claim is that the agent grabbed an AR 15 upon hearing the initial shot and as the cars suddenly accelerated the rifle accidentally fired hitting the President in the head. Subsequently the secret service covered up the true chain of events. Bob DeWoody My motto: Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow as it may not be required. I think its all hogwash. Yes Armalite sold the patent to Colt in 1959, And yes the Air Force adopted the weapon in 1962. Imm sure IF some one had seen that it would have leaked out. And besides the secret service was more for concealable weapons. Kind of hard to stick an M-16 in your pants with out a telltale showing.
Old James |

There was no argument that the secret service did not have automatic weapons in the motorcade and there is a photograph taken just after the first shot was fired showing a secret service agent with an automatic rifle. The evidence is pretty compelling that two different types of bullets were fired. It makes little difference now but this explanation closes all the nagging contradictions of the Warren Commission Report. I recommend watching this documentary before closing your mind to this explanation. Bob DeWoody My motto: Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow as it may not be required. This is the first theory/explanation that has made sense to me. Although it is not really new. It was first compiled way back in the 1980's by a ballistics expert who had been employed by CBS as a gun expert to try to fire three rounds from a rifle identical to the one Oswald in a setting intended to replicate the conditions of the actual event. Here is a different link to details of the story. http://www.newsobserver.com/2013/11/03/3329536/jfk-the-smoking-gun-makes-a-compelling.html Bob DeWoody My motto: Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow as it may not be required. Ok I will say its plausible. And it better than most of the loonier ones. I have felt that Oswald wasnt alone, but he was also a fall guy. My guess it was Castro who set it up. If they ever unseal those files in 2017 maybe we can get some answers. I dont know why they were ever sealed in the first place.
Old James |

There was so much crap going on at the time. Any discloser could have been seen as a disaster. I still think it was the mob, inspired by Castro. In 63 the mob hadnt been totally left Cuba yet. The suppossed asassain attempts on Castro by the CIA was the reason why he was killed. But then Robert Kennedy as the AG was in the midst of a crackdown on the mob. So the mob figures in two scenarios. I feel one is right.
Old James |

I too, think that Oswald was sponsored by the mob as they blamed Kennedy for being kicked out of Cuba and also the withdrawal of air support for the Bay of Pigs invasion. I also think it is most likely that the shot fired by Oswald would have resulted in Kennedy's death. Assuming the theory about the accidental firing of the AR 15 is correct many of the other events that lead people to believe in conspiracy theories were the result of the secret service covering up the sequence of true events which was of course a conspiracy of a different nature. I doubt that the unsealing of documents in 2017 will have anything that points to this theory whether it is true or not. Of course not Bob. It's the same in the UK with the death of Princess Diana. Whatever the REAL truth the public will never get to know it. Chris, you have that right. I've heard the CIA to LBJ, Castro, etc, killed Kennedy. We will find aliens, before we find who killed Kennedy. Yes, Princess Diana, also. |

Of course not Bob. It's the same in the UK with the death of Princess Diana. Whatever the REAL truth the public will never get to know it. The difference here is that unlike the theory that the CIA purposely killed Kennedy this one proposes that the fatal shot was the result of an accidental discharge of the rifle caused by the agent loosing his balance when the car suddenly accelerated to keep up with Kennedy's car. But unless the truth is hiding in the documents to be released in four years it will only be another theory to add to the already long list. Frangible round. Gun powder smell ground level. One of 3 shells in Russian Rifle an empty shell to keep chamber clean. LHO first shot hits pavement and cement chip strikes JFK and He says he has been hit. 2nd shot from LHO goes thru neck. 3rd shot, a frangible round, explodes in skull and blows 4 inch hole in head. A full metal jacket round would not explode. It would go straight thru, like the 2nd LHO shot. SS Agent was not experienced in the weapon and was added to team at last moment because of SS Agents 'Night Out'. Stood up in Following Car with gun and it discharged when car lurched. Then the SS Cover Up and W Commission Lousy Job. Accident by Incompetence and Terrible Bad Luck. Don't think Neck wound was fatal. Would have lived if not for The Folly of Accident. fO shO fO evA Corn 'is' 'it' May we All have a METAMORPHOSIS. REASON. GOoD JUDGEMENT and LOVE and ORDER!!!!! |

Nearly three-quarters of Americans (74%) believe John F. Kennedy will go down in history as an outstanding or above-average president, a more positive review than any other post-World War II president receives. History shows that he played a nice hand of nuclear poker over Cuba after a failed invasion at the Bay of Pigs, but little happened other than his own death to make his tenure extraordinary. The Civil Rights movement that he was supposedly so adamant about appears to be a facade. He didn't really care one way or the other about Civil Rights. So we are left with Cuba and his death Oh he did escalate the US involvement in Viet nam In a rich man's house there is no place to spit but his face. Diogenes Of Sinope |

That is certainly one point of view. Others will remember him for the speech to put man on the moon. So true. He was such a grand orator. Try getting anything so inspiring from our current flock of politicians. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |
