So most of my machines run Astropulse all the time and with no issues.
What makes Boinc or Seti go from working correctly to oversubscribing work by about 3 times what the machine can do?

Sorry to wing persons but, I just had to abort 19 AP's that I could in no way finish by deadline.

Overfetch is a problem we are investigating on and off.

The problem is, once you see you've had overfetch, it's too late to put the log flags in you would need to diagnose what's going on.

The one area we know where excessive workfetch is prone to happen is fetching when dry on a project.

It would help if you could give us a better idea under which citrcumstamces you saw obverfetch. And if you see it happening often, putting a log flag or two, would help to catch it.

IMO better abort if you can't finish in time - then they get send out pretty quick again.
