My home state, Illinois, is considered a 'blue, blue, blue' state, yet nearly everyone I talk to around here is 'red, red, red' by their own definition. I work with a Tea Partier Anti-Vaxer, Anti-Evolution, Anti-ACA, Anti-Climate Changer, anti-abortion... heck, I was raised Conservative Catholic though and through.

Just because a state is red or blue, doesn't mean you don't have patches of other groups within. In fact, Chicago pretty much makes up whether IL is blue or red, despite the way the rest of the state votes.

In general, it is mostly the GOP/TP that are anti-vaxers, etc. Simply tune into any of their favored tv/radio stations and you'll quickly pick up on it, just as you quickly pick up on a liberal vibe on MSNBC/CNN.
