Anybody that can direct this request, please.......

My PM inbox is overflowing.
It must cause the Seti servers a fit every time I try to read a new PM, because it tries to load messages that go on for YEARS.

Could we get a tool that would allow one to delete all PMs received before a certain date? It would take me days to delete them one at a time.

And, whilst I am at it, I requested years ago that there also be a 'sent' PM box.

Time for these things to happen at this point in time?

I am not complaining about PMs.....I love them.

I am just wondering if we could have a tool to deal with many year's worth of accumulation of them...LOL.

Mine is really not that clean either, but they all saved in e-mail inbox.
Ok, I will spend five minutes doing a little clean up.

Along with that, is there, or could there be, a way to retrieve PMs accidentally deleted, or better yet a confirmation pop-up when you click delete? Several times, I have clicked delete when I meant to click reply.

I think the best way to implement Mark's request would be to have a check box next to each message. You go down the list and check the ones you want to delete, then click a master delete button.

It's got that already, hasn't it? Mine certainly does: the wording on the master button is "Delete selected messages".

Duh. You're right. That should help the Kittyman.

I still feel the need for it be a bit more difficult to accidentally delete.

LOL...
Do you know how long it would take to click on hundreds upon hundreds of messages to mark them for deletion?
I was just looking for a way to delete everything beyond a certain cut off date.

I dunno, I guess my inbox is just much more robust that some.

My oldest is from Fivestar Crashtest in mid 2007.

Heck, maybe I should keep them for posterity.

longer than it would take to do just a few.

If you want to get rid if them I suggest starting at the beginning.

At the bottom of the inbox is a nice "button" named select all.
