Nicotine controls insulin production.

Why is an increase in Diabetes a surprise when there is a decrease in smoking?

Why not spell out the cause which the medical types know?

Who is not telling us for our own good?

What is the decrease in life expectancy from diabetes as compared to smoking? Both numbers are known. Why are they not on the same government website?

Never met a pack-a-day pot smoker.

Sheltered life.

Had a person who had to smoke a carton a day accost me at a hotel I had to be at because of a business meeting asking if I wanted to purchase a pound for personal consumption, that being the amount he used.

Most pot smokers I've known are heavy smokers or heavy smokers/drinkers.

1440 minutes in a day. 200 cigarettes in a carton. A joint every 7.2 minutes. No sleep.

He looked like he never slept.

As for me the herb gives me a raging headache and makes me horny. Not a good combination!

Oh, I shouldn't..but I shall.

MJ was never an addiction to me.
I tried it once or twice when a kid.
And I DID inhale.
Only thing is, I never felt any better for having done it.
Only thing it ever did for me is make me wanna crawl up in a corner and go to sleep.
No high, no special colors. Nothing. Just the need to go to sleep and escape what I had just done.

I could see making it legal for those that somehow thinks it gives them an edge on life. I just don't see how, from what I experienced years ago.

I could never understand those that could take a big bong hit just to get their day 'rolling' if you know what I mean. I'd be back in bed all day long waiting for the crap to work it's way back out of my system somehow. And that could take daaaaaaaaaaays.

it made me much more paraniod than I normally am. I didn't and don't care for it. Also this recreational drug is much more expensive than Alcohol and is sold in higher density in poorer neighborhoods.
