Well, I can't tell any difference between 8 & 8.1 on my NV8800GT. It took around 2.5 hours of installing after the 2.63GB download. The only difference I see is I now have a Fugly white placeholder where a Start Menu should be. It still takes around 24xx seconds to snag 100 credits. Everything after 18 Oct 2013, 8:16:51 UTC is using 8.1; v7 tasks for computer 6796475 .

The install went fine after hangs at 78% & 79% during the first part, then other hangs at 3% for the other parts. No Black Flashing Screens. I did reinstall Cat 13.9 even though it reported it was already installed...
